‘You could just see him smiling’: Man dies in car crash that left his wife and son behind
A man who had been driving in the US has died in a car crash in Georgia.
The 52-year-old driver of the SUV that struck the car in Fulton County died after he lost control and crashed into a concrete wall.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) says the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was on his way to visit his wife in Georgia, when he crashed into the concrete wall, said Georgia Bureau Special Agent Chris Stromberg.
He was the second driver to die in Georgia in two weeks.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died.
His wife, 35-year old Stephanie, died at the hospital.
The woman who was in the car was taken by ambulance to the GBI office, where she was later pronounced dead, according to a statement from the Georgia Bureau.
