“You could tell that I was ready to roll” — J.J. Abrams on his time as Star Trek: The Next Generation actor
Star Trek actor J.T. Kirk (pictured above with his daughter Molly) is one of many actors who have been nominated for best actor for his performance as Worf in Star Trek Beyond.
And he’s already received some acclaim for his turn in the sequel, and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
But Kirk has been very public about his thoughts on what it’s like to be a veteran actor.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he talked about how the experience has changed his life, and how it’s changed his relationship with his family.
“The first few years, I had to deal with some things,” Kirk told THR.
“I think it’s a great thing, and I can’t say enough good things about it.
I’ve had so much fun.
I love doing it, and the kids are so awesome.
But now I have to deal and deal and do things and deal.
And I love it.
I don’t think I was, so I’m really glad I made the choice. “
The first couple of years, the movie was like, ‘Well, you can’t be a part of it.’
I don’t think I was, so I’m really glad I made the choice.
And now, I have time to be able to focus on my work, my career, my life, the next movie, whatever it is.”
Kirk was nominated for the best actor award for his role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
He has yet to announce whether he will win the prize for The Force Awakens.
He also recently spoke with Collider about his involvement with Star Wars Rebels, as well as what it feels like to play an older character.

How did you start to develop this love of Star War, or what was it about the Star Wars franchise that started you on this path?
I was always a Star Wars fan.
And, in high school, I remember being a fan.
I remember going to conventions, watching Star Wars movies.
And that’s what really drove me into it.
So I would just go and see all the movies.
I think I did go to four or five of them, and one of them was Star Wars, and then I got into the prequels.
But I loved all of them.
I loved that it was a family, a story about family.
And as I got older, I kind of became like a Star Trek fan.
But it was also really exciting to me that they were taking on new characters.
Like, I was in my early 20s and there were all these new characters, so that was really exciting.
Then, the first thing I started to notice was that they had new costumes.
And they had costumes for everybody.
And there were new ships, new spaceships, and new planets.
I was just like, oh, wow.
This is really cool. I don
