How to Save Money With a Wood Air Conditioner
Wood air conditioners are no longer a cheap option for most homes, but it’s still a good idea to get a pair, says a study published by The American Conservatory.
In the study, researchers found that the average wood air conditioner had a cost savings of $3,000 per year, compared with $2,000 for an air-conditioning system with an LED light.
The study also found that using an air conditioning system without a heating source would save more than $300 per year.
While most wood air conditioning systems use air to cool the wood floors and are therefore more expensive than the same system with a heat source, the study found that with a wood air system the savings are much higher.
You can save up to $100 per year using a wood unit that uses a heating system to cool down the wood.
